  • Flexible rostering, with a mixture of 24 and 12 hour on call periods.

The RFDS (Queensland Section) is seeking a Medical Officer to join the team, in Charleville. A Charleville RFDS Medical Officer provides both Aeromedical/Emergency and Primary Health Care Services. Your role could vary from emergency aeromedical retrieval to running a remote clinic overlooking the ruggard landscape of outback Queensland.

Who are we looking for? To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum of five years post graduate experience
  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACCRM
  • Emergency Experience
  • 6 months Anaesthetic experience preferable
  • 3 months ICU Experience would be advantageous
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS)

It is essential that you are registered or have the ability to be registered with AHPRA (Medical Board of Australia).

This role will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and apply for and maintain a maintain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
