The Drought Wellbeing Team provide community based mental health outreach services with a focus on early intervention and mental health promotion.

The RFDS is seeking a Service Coordinator to coordinate and manage the Drought Wellbeing Service which purpose is to provide mental health services across drought affected areas in Queensland. Your role will be non-clinical and will have responsibility for the delivery of the program against the contract deliverables, including operational and financial responsibility. Leading a team of skilled clinicians, you will support the team to think outside the boundaries of metropolitan based service provision, to enable psychological support to be delivered too hard to reach clients in hard to reach communities. In addition, you will attend regular meetings with the key stakeholders, building relationships and developing strategies to increase access to community based, clinical mental health services. Your role will have a creative element where in collaboration with the RFDS Marketing team you will develop promotional materials for the service.
